Life Is Difficult For The Blind- Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh Churchill has been in the news lately for either showering praises on her husband, Oladunni, or sparring with her ‘haters.’

On Saturday, October 10, Tonto Dikeh posted a painting of herself on Instagram  and captioned it: “When people say they can’t see anything beautiful in you, Hug them and say life is difficult for the blind..#you have beauty inside of you whether we see it or nor not, Don’t let anyone make you feel lesser.”

Fans of the actress, in the comments, however, showed their displeasure at her choice of words.
One wrote: “The blind got family, caregivers whom are sympathetic to their condition. We all got to be temperate with words.”

In August, Tonto posted to Oladunni Churchill on Instagram and soon after started referring to herself as Mrs. Churchill. The actress also claimed that a former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, was her father-in-law, but this once soon .

Cash-strapped National Assembly has resorted to bank facilities to pay its staff their monthly salaries and allowances.But the facilities do not include the controversial running cost paid to lawmakers, as well as the salaries and allowances for their aides. About N4.5 billion is spent on the running cost of lawmakers in the two houses of the National Assembly. The sum of N13.5 million is paid to each senator while a member of the House of Representatives gets a little above half of this. The balance is paid out to legislative aides. In anger last week, legislative aides rose in protest against the non-payment of their salaries and allowances.
