Man Who Defiled Minor Arrested

A 41 year old man, Stephen Akunewu has been arrested by police operatives in Abia after he allegedly defiled a three year old girl.
Vanguard reports that Akunewu who ran a barbing salon at No. 14 Uzoigwe extension, off Osusu road in Aba lived in the same apartment as the girl’s uncle. It was reported that the suspect used biscuits and sweets to lure the minor into his room and took advantage of her.
Eunice, the girl’s guardian suspected that she had been defiled and took her to the hospital. A medical examination revealed that she had been defiled as her private part was bruised and reddish.
