Kelly Clarkson's Baby Girl is a Scene-Stealer in "Piece By Piece" Video

Kelly Clarkson's precious baby girl River Rose just stole the spotlight (and our hearts!) with her adorable appearance in the singer's "Piece By Piece" video.

True to form, the title track for Kelly's album features a set of honest, emotionally raw lyrics that juxtapose the singer's rocky relationship with her father against that of her husband of two years, Brandon Blackstock. To illustrate just how much love she and her bae have for one another and for their daughter, the "Piece by Piece" video displays several loving mother-daughter duos along with a few expectant mothers.

Meanwhile Kelly brings the family lovefest full circle as she sings, "Piece by piece he restored my faith that a man could be kind and a father could stay," She continues, "Piece by piece I fell far from the tree/I will never leave her like you left me/And she will never have to wonder her worth/Because unlike you, I'm gonna put her first."

Gah! Between the super adorbs manner in which Kelly announced that she's having a boy and this downright charming cameo by River Rose, we need a moment to pull ourselves together.

Cash-strapped National Assembly has resorted to bank facilities to pay its staff their monthly salaries and allowances.But the facilities do not include the controversial running cost paid to lawmakers, as well as the salaries and allowances for their aides. About N4.5 billion is spent on the running cost of lawmakers in the two houses of the National Assembly. The sum of N13.5 million is paid to each senator while a member of the House of Representatives gets a little above half of this. The balance is paid out to legislative aides. In anger last week, legislative aides rose in protest against the non-payment of their salaries and allowances.
