Pretty Little Liars' Will End Sooner Than You Think

If your Tuesday nights are reserved for Pretty Little Liars viewing parties, you may find yourself with a wide open space in your calendar a lot sooner than you expected to. We now know when Pretty Little Liars is officially ending, and no one will be happy with the answer.
Fans were stoked when Pretty Little Liars was renewed for Season 6 and Season 7 at the same time back in June of 2014, but many fans expected that the series would eventually get renewed for an eighth season as well. With so many shady people in Rosewood, it seemed like Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna would always have someone to run from and lies to cover up, hence allowing for the show to extend beyond Season 7. Unfortunately, showrunner I. Marlene King has just confirmed to Variety that the end really is near, stating, "I think that this story when we're back will end next year at the at end of Season 7."
Umm, SO many feels about this...

Though we don't have an official end date for Season 7 and ultimately Pretty Little Liars, if the series continues at the pace it's going, PLL will likely end before 2017 is over. However, there is one shred of good news: Marlene recently stated that she is totally open to a Pretty Little Liars movie, which means that the next time we see the Liars after the Season 7 finale could be on the big screen. It's not another season, but hey, at least we're getting something great after the series goes to the grave.
