Gwen and Blake fans, are you ready for the best Valentine’s Day gift ever? Music’s hottest couple was spotted getting steamy with each other at a pre-Grammys gala and their PDA is just adorable.

Gwen Stefani, 46, and Blake Shelton, 39, more than showed up on the Day of Love. Gwen, wearing a gorgeous scarlet dress, cuddled with her boyfriend at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy gala on Feb. 14, showing the world he’s hers by sitting on his lap and whispering in his ear the entire evening! Check out the insanely sweet pic here.

Gwen wore a huge grin on her face the entire time as Blake held her tight in his strong arms. We don’t blame him for being unable to keep his hands off her — Gwen looked radiant in a silky red, ruffled dress, with her trademark platinum locks styled in pretty curls. They were, without a doubt, the most attractive Valentine’s couple in the room!
Gwen and Blake’s hot V-Day date comes right on the heels of her new single, “Make Me Like You”, which is, of course, about her beau. The lyrics — including “I could get used to this/It’s getting harder to leave it/Your lips on my lips/Oh, I can’t believe it/How good it could be/Didn’t wanna believe it, but now you are all I see” — are inspired by Blake, and we’ve had the tune on repeat since its debut a few days ago.

National Assembly broke, borrows to pay workers

Image
Cash-strapped National Assembly has resorted to bank facilities to pay its staff their monthly salaries and allowances. But the facilities do not include the controversial running cost paid to lawmakers, as well as the salaries and allowances for their aides. About N4.5 billion is spent on the running cost of lawmakers in the two houses of the National Assembly. The sum of N13.5 million is paid to each senator while a member of the House of Representatives gets a little above half of this. The balance is paid out to legislative aides. In anger last week, legislative aides rose in protest against the non-payment of their salaries and allowances. Several sources yesterday confirmed the resort to bank overdrafts to pay salaries of “strictly National Assembly staff,” but the Director of Information to the National Assembly, Mr. Ishaku Adamu Dibal, said he was not aware of the development that had happened at least twice in the past. It was gathered that August and September...
