Cambio Asks: What Do You Think of Zayn's Solo Career So Far?

What a difference a year makes! It seems just like yesterday that Zayn Malik was still part of our beloved One Direction. He's since dropped the boys (a certain Naughty one included!) and his last name in his quest to carve out his own identity in the music world.

Between his singles ("Pillowtalk" and "Like I Would") and features ("Back to Sleep (Remix)"), Zayn is a few songs deep into his solo career. And it's clear that Gigi Hadid's bae is all about that sensual, R&B sound. But what do some of his celebrity fans think?

We took to the orange carpet to find out how people felt about Zayn as a solo artist.

Kira Kosarin (The Thundermans): So far, I love it. I love "Pillowtalk." I think he's really talented. I think all those boys are talented. They spent a great amount of time together as One Direction and I think it's great that they're going off to pursue their own separate careers. I hope that their relationships with each other can stay good because it's really unfortunate to see people who were once friends not be anymore.

Brec Bassinger (Bella and the Bulldogs): I love One Direction. I LOVE Harry Styles. I just want Harry Styles to go solo. That's my opinion on that situation. I personally love One Direction. I don't know if it showcases his talent because he has a beautiful voice.

Kendall Vertes (Dance Moms): I'm really happy that Zayn kind of broke off because "Pillowtalk" would have never happened. And I think that him and Gigi Hadid are perfect!
